How former soldier turned celebrity transformation coach, Chief Brabon, uses STAIT to stay fighting fit over 50.

Chief Brabon is widely regarded as the OG of the Australian fitness industry, but you may not realise that that passion for pushing individuals to achieve draw-dropping results stems from his time as a young Infantry Soldier in the Australian Army.

Chief (birth name James) was a gifted high school athlete, competing at a national level in both athletics and cross-country. He in-fact undertook the Athletics Australia coaching certification at the age of just 16, because at the time his school didn’t have a distance running coach.

Upon completing his VCE, Chief went straight into the Army, while still only 17 years of age. His athleticism put him in good stead, helping him set a number of physical training records during Basic Training, and again when posted to his Infantry battalion 8/9 RAR.

It was during his time at 8/9 that he discovered his true passion, coaching others to become the best version of themselves. As a result he established Australia’s first (and what is now the World’s longest running and most respected) bootcamp fitness program – ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP.

After leaving the military Chief (along with his now wife & business partner Emilie) spent more than a decade travelling the world, working with and educating operators and physical trainers from many of the World’s most elite Special Forces, Special Operations, Combat, Tactical Response, and high-risk Fire/ Rescue units.

More recently Chief has established himself, as one half of (according to Men’s Fitness & Men’s Health Magazines) “The World’s #1 Celebrity Transformation Duo” (along with Nutrition Coach Emilie).

On a sporting level, despite having to take a 16 year hiatus from running due to a spinal injury, Chief returned to competitive racing in his late 30’s, going on to win two national silver medals, and a state gold in the 50km, and winning some of the toughest 50km Ultramarathons in the world. Before officially retiring during COVID, Chief achieved 9 International 1st Places, and more than a dozen podiums.

Since turning 50, Chief has been squarely focussed on proving that chronological age is absolutely no barrier to achieving your health and fitness goals, and believes that nutrition & supplementation are most definitely two of the three Key Elements to not just Longevity, but a true extension of our Quality of Life

"With any training, nutrition, or supplementation protocol we are considering for our clientele, Emilie and I insist on testing everything ourselves. When it comes to STAIT’s range of products, I can honestly say that I have never felt greater personal benefit, both from an athletic perspective, and one of general wellbeing.

"As an athlete in my 50’s (yes, I do still consider myself an athlete), I recognise the importance of balancing our hormones. On bring them back to their optimum levels, through the use of natural medicine.

"I know for a fact that I sleep better, wake up clearer, and have greater focus throughout the day due to STAIT. I am also keenly aware of how, in combination with our regular fasting protocol, the supplements have dramatically reduced both joint and connective tissue inflammation.

"Here I am, a 51 year old bloke who can still grind out 12 – 15kms at a sub 5min/km pace, 5 days a week, without any issues. No other supplement has ever given me that kind of confidence.

"Right now, my professional focus is on helping men and women 45 and over to achieve their best-ever health & fitness, and STAIT is the only supplement range I recommend across the board.

"I have set myself a number of physical challenges over the next 12 months to prove, not only to myself but to others, that with the right combination of targeted training, nutrition, and supplementation by STAIT, our best years are definitely still ahead of us (even at 50)."

- Chief Brabon

Recently Chief posted a comparison of his physique on his 18th birthday (taken during Basic Training in the Army) and on his 51st birthday, this year. He noted that 33yrs later he only weighed 6kgs more, had the same waist measurement, and actually has a lower body fat %.

As much as people might like to claim this is a result of “good genetics”, Chief has proven that optimising those three pillars of physical wellbeing (training, nutrition & supplementation) can clearly turn back the clock.
